Money where your mouth is
£1000 for up to 30 young people aged 13 - 19 to make a positive change in your area.

On Monday 5th July 2010 I Do Ideas was launched. An interactive funding opportunity for young people across England who have an idea they want to put into action in the local area. I Do Ideas provide the money and the support, you have to make it happen!
   

Community Space Challenge

Community Space Challenge
Changemakers supports young people involved in Community Space Challenge (CSC) projects to gain nationally recognised accreditation certificates in the form of the UK Youth’s Junior Achievement Award and Youth Challenge. The accreditation demonstrates the young people’s commitment to their projects and evaluates the skills they have gained over the course of the projects, which began back in 2007.
   

Birmingham played host to Germans at the weekend

At the weekend, Changemakers played host to a group of volunteers from a German Foundation in Frankfurt, Germany. And, no, it wasn't just to have some World Cup banter with them. The volunteers are actually participating in an 18-month scholarship programme that promotes civic engagement and leadership in local communities.
