We believe that to create really sustainable change in the policy and practice of an Organisation, we need to use the expertise and enthusiasm of young people themselves to advocate youth participation.

Changemakers will be recruiting Muslim Young Advocates to develop projects designed to make a positive impact in their community. These young people will then recruit their peers to design and deliver a community action project. Young Advocates will be paid for ten days work over six months.

Adam Nichols, CEO of Changemakers, commented: “This is a profoundly important project as strengthening the role of young Muslim people within the wider community, whilst maintaining their belief and understanding of their own faith and culture, is crucial to an integrated and peaceful multi-faith society.”
