What We Do
We plant young people in real situations with real opportunities to lead and in the process develop a new generation of leaders.
Our approach to leadership development is based on cultivating the five Changemakers values in the people with whom we work – young people, professionals, policymakers, and our own team. You can read more about our values here.We do three things:
1. Leadership Development
We offer a three month programme of training, coaching, peer support and real world leadership experiences for young people, helping them become more aware of and better able to harness their leadership potential. This programme brings out young people’s confidence to lead and builds awareness of their values, identity and leadership style. You can find out more about the programme here.
2. Organisational Development
We offer practical, hands on support and advice for organisations who want to nurture and unlock the leadership potential of young people.
We pave the way for young people to become leaders by fighting against the barriers that prevent them from exercising leadership – demonstrating to policy makers the value and potential of young leaders and persuading them to let this happen.
